Native speakers with years of experience
We are proud to state that at FLC teachers and director work in close partnership, sharing ideas and materials on a day-to-day basis with the aim of bringing you the most appropriate training programme to suit your needs.
The Institute is run jointly by two French Directors who have taught in numerous schools and companies in France and England for over 20 years.
Marie Movafaghi
Marie initially studied French Literature and completed the first year of a Doctorate (DEA). As she enjoys interaction with people of different cultures, she also studied linguistics at the Sorbonne in Paris and obtained a master’s degree in teaching French as a foreign language.
Marie has been teaching French as a foreign language in Paris and London for 20 years. Her practical experience in teaching and curriculum planning, has given her the ability to tailor and personalise her approach according to the needs of each student. This teaching methodology is today passed on to all teachers of the Institute and strictly monitored.
Andre Deniaud
Andre has a B.A. in Sociology, a PGCE in Modern Languages from London University and recently completed an MAE (Master Administration des Enterprises) with the Université de Rennes. As a fully trained teacher, he began his career in London in 1987. In the past 20 years he has worked extensively in both the UK and France, teaching students of all ages and all levels.
Andre has successfully prepared many of his students for GCSE's, A Levels and Masters Degrees. Having worked in the management of both business and educational departments, he is well-equipped to run and develop French courses with a business emphasis.
